Django Reinhardt – His licks

The new lesson is a Django Reinhardt special! I choosed typical Django licks and arpeggios from a few of his greatest recordings, like “When Day is Done”, “Dark Eyes”, “Limehouse Blues” and “Undecided”.
Of course not to forget his great compositions, like “Blues Clair”, “Django´s Tiger” and “Swing 42” (one of Tommy Emmanuel´s favourite Django Tunes).
You can use these licks to develop your technical skills (because we have a lot of work for left and right hand technique), but also as a building block for your own improvisation.
The last lick (Lick #10) is the ultimative Django Reinhardt signature lick – check it out 🙂
